It has been exactly 1 month and 1 day i have not been smoking, hooray… finally free from the toxins and smell of the cigarettes. proud to say that i m a non smoker now..hehe…Well, the happiest person now would be my mum and my gf, mum has been nagging me about this everytime she calls, haha..

Abit history about my smoking habbit, started smoking when i was still in high school, occasionaly, i think about 2 days a week, that time i was still working as a casual worker in a hotel during the weekends, and most of my friends smokes. thats when i smoke but not addicted that time.  When i went to England, thats when i started to smoke everyday.. that continued on for a few years until i went back to Penang, I think in year 2000 i stopped. wasn’t smoking for bout 3 years and pick up the habit again in 2004 when i went back to Penang after working in sin for a while. What started me back to smoking would be alcohol i think.. started to go clubbing few times a week, so when u add a club, alcohol, friends who smokes and temptations, the habit came back and has been smoking until a month ago.  Luckily the company enrolled me in a smoking cessation program..fully paid by the company. hehe… Dr. Tan was great, she gave us lots of information about smoking, taught us how to slowly stop..but end of the day, i think it still depends a lot on ourselves, our willpower to want to stop. 

It wasn’t easy initially, the temptations was always there, i failed a few times cos we are supposed to set a quit date.. but i always postpone it..haha. but finally one day i told myself, enough is enough.. determination helps.  And what do i get from not smoking, well..hehe, better health, no more smelly hands and fingers and bad breath.. save lots of money(ciggy r so ex now).  haha.. To those who wants to quit, give yourselves a chance in life.. set a quit date and work from there… the first step is very important.
